So Yesterday I had a huge dopey experience.
I went to Stop & Shop while my fiancee & I had our laundry in the dryer so we could pick up a few things. We saw this newer thing they offered which was kind of like a shopping companion. Basically its a scanner you use while you shop, so you can total & bag everything as you go along & then just go up to pay. What an awesome idea, right? Yes... for the less dopey.
I tried to get the contraption off of the display. I was already met with a problem. I kept pulling on it & trying to get one out. Then i decided i should just read the sign. Oh! you need to scan your club card & THEN take one. Okay... now we're on our way.
The actual shopping wasn't too bad. I'm pretty good when it comes to actually getting items & pricing things out. A few things here & there were kinda yaan because the scanner the display gave to me was a little broken. Nonetheless, it was a decent & quick shopping... until it came time to checkout.
As usual, I wanted to take the reigns in the situation. I go up & remember i need to scan my club card, so I do so. It didn't work, so I scanned it again. I didn't understand why it wasn't working. The Self Scanning machine basically froze itself & announced, "HELP IS ON THE WAY"...which is a phrase I'm very familiar with. I then noticed a little sign above the checkout counter that said "scan bar code here to end self scan" So I tried doing that. An employee came over & said "i know you didn't do that first! I gotta fix it for you." So she did. I giggled it off & tried it again the proper way. As usual, following the rules in order led to success. Everything was bagged up already, so all then do was pay & go.
Overall, it was yet another learning experience for me. Now that I know how to work the thing, I think its actually quite useful.

So i was watching Jeopardy (one of my favorite things to do) & i was trying to figure out what the final Jeopardy answer was. I took a pretty good guess & got it right! I was so excited so i decided to celebrate...neglecting the fact i was eating an ice pop. A huge chunk fell on my chest & then proceeded to slip down my shirt.... making me a sticky mess. I guess next time I should celebrate less vigorously.

Yesterday I was prepping pineapple for a most delicious snack. A piece slipped off from the cutting board, so instead of letting it fall or catching it with my hand, i decided to catch it with my tummy. I then got really sticky because of it.
After that, I put them into a Tupperware & then that slipped out of my hands too. Luck must have been on my side because I only dropped a half a dozen pieces instead of everything I just did.

So I was sitting in my car with my fiancee Ben while we were waiting for our clothes to dry at the laundromat. Since it is June, it was relatively warm out, so we decided to put the windows down.
When I was trying to put down the passenger window, he was doing the same thing at the same time. The window went down very slow, much slower than usual & then it stopped. Ben tried to put it back up but it wasn't working anymore. Ben told me we burned out the motor because we were doing it at the same time. I started to freak out.
I was trying to figure out how much money it would cost to fix it or how i will be able to live with this. Ben started playing with the window some more. He came to a conclusion.
"Do you have child safety locks?"
I looked around my car.... low & behold, i do. One day I must have hit it with my elbow while driving. I turned it off & my window started to work perfectly. Oh dear.
